Wanted to give a reminder to all my small business owners and entrepreneurs out there. This fits in so many capacities of your business but today I am talking about social media and digital platforms. That reminder- one size does not fit all.
It is so easy to get sucked into the latest, the greatest and what is trending. You shouldn’t ignore these things, but they should all be looked at with a frame of “are my customers or potential customers going to be doing it or using it.” Rare is the person that is on every platform out there or participating in every trend, because in the digital platform one size doesn’t fit all.
The key to this whole equation is meeting your customer and potential customers where they are at. Know which platforms, which trends, which groups, which pages they spend their time on and more importantly where they ask questions and seek solutions. Know that and you can be right there to be of assistance.
You meet them where they are at and authentically and honestly want to help them find the “answer” they are seeking. Do that and you not only have a customer you have a new marketer for your business. That is what we call a WIN, WIN!
It’s true one size doesn’t fit all so base that on-line strategy around where your customers and potential customers are at. What trends ring true to them, where are they consuming content and where are they seeking answers. Do that and the results will follow. As always shine bright and much love!
