It’s March so for thousands and thousands that means the madness is here!
Yes, March Madness the time that make some cheer and others groan. You don’t even have to be a big basketball fan to love this time of year. It’s more than the game or as the SEC says, “It just means more”. Why is that? How can one sport’s tournament transform a large part of a nation for multiple weeks? People are watching games and betting on pools when some couldn’t even name a player on many rosters. Why are they spending their time and dollars on something that they haven’t watched all season? 
I think it is because the tournament shows us passion, excitement, and genuine human emotions. It gives us something or some team to get behind whether you are honestly a fan of that team or you just chose them to go far in your pool.
We live through the true excitement of the Cinderella’s or the utter sadness when a senior realizes he or she just played their last competitive game of basketball. Opening us up to the possibility of do or die moments because if you loose it’s over. Giving us insight into the guys and gals on these teams and what drives them. It shows us what it’s like to give all you have and push for more.
So whether you are a true hoops fan or not, take in some of the madness this month. Watch some games, read about these kids and see what it’s like to put it all on the line in a winner takes all kind of match up. Maybe their passion will spark a little something in you on your quest to live your ultimate life. So, enjoy and remember to Shine Bright!
