Let’s be honest, some days it is just not there for you. It could be a lot of things, different for each person. Whether it be energy, creativity, critical thinking, or emotional stability it’s just not readily available like other days.
Those “some days” make things very hard because they don’t always pick a day when you don’t have so much to do. No, a lot of time those “Some days” seem to pick the days you have a crazy amount to do. Because let’s be honest, the to do list seems long every day. Am I right?
So, what are you to do when say you have a mega project to work on and you can’t focus or think to save your life? The key at that point is not to get overwhelmed by the mega part of the project. Break it down into manageable parts with mini goals.
If you segment what you are doing and say if you get through parts 1, 2 and 3 you stop to get up and take a walk to get a drink parts 4, 5 and 6 might not seem so bad after. I think often on those “some days” when we just can’t seem to function normally, we allow ourselves to get overwhelmed by volume. There is no way I can get this whole thing done today because I can’t think straight. How many of you have said something like that? Did you stop and break it up or did you waste time worrying about how you couldn’t do it?
You can do it! Even on those “some days” when it’s just not there for you. You might just need to take a different path. Whether it be resting up a little extra before you start or breaking up tasks to manageable levels. The key is to treat yourself with some care, breathe, reward yourself or take a break in between. That care will help you to focus in or de-stress so that you can handle what is on tap for those “some days”. You got this! Shine Bright and Much Love!!
