The word fan often gets associated with sports especially now that we have so many sports going at once. The fall is always jam packed with college football, NFL, MLB playoffs and the NHL starting up this week. And now after the past 2 years all of this is going on with fans in the parks, stadiums, and arenas. It really is very exciting.
Fan however doesn’t have to be associated with just sports. What are you a fan of? Do you have a particular type of books you like to read, maybe shows or art? You could be a fan of hiking, cooking up the latest foods or baking amazing treats.
Whatever you are a fan of, embrace it and enjoy it. If the last 2 years has taught us anything I think it is to not take for granted the things or people, we enjoy. To slow down and take that hike with your family or friends, see the latest art exhibit or game. If you want to bake or read, do it! If you are a fan of it and it makes you happy than don’t let anyone else stop, you from enjoying whatever your fandom rests on.
Sometimes I think we let others influence our opinions on what we should be doing or enjoying. If you aren’t hurting anyone or anything then stand up for what you are a fan of and partake. Keep the rivalries fun and pleasant, share your hikes or treats and suggest that favorite book to someone else who might enjoy it. Be you, your fandom is part of your big picture. Share it, enjoy it, and live it. Shine Bright and Much Love!
