If you didn’t know today is National Eat Outside Day, a fun concept for most people, dining outside. Obviously for others they are not a fan because of potential bugs or the heat. Whether it be a picnic or outside seating at a restaurant dining outside can be a nice way to slow down even for an hour or so.
We are often in such a rush that mealtime becomes almost more of a must do than something to enjoy. However, when you take that meal outside on a beautiful day you almost instinctually take a deep breath and slow down. That could be to enjoy your food, listen to some music while you eat or have a wonderful conversation with whomever you are dining with.
I encourage you in this fast-paced world that before it gets too cold to take advantage of dining outside. Find that perfect restaurant or picnic spot, get your favorite food, drink and company and take that deep breath. I am going to guess that after that hour or two you are going to feel more energized and refreshed than if you just pounded down your food to get back to whatever you were doing.
Enjoy the simple times, the nice weather and recharge so you can show the world how bright you shine!
