Time is an interesting thing because once it’s gone it’s just that gone. Sure, you can have memories of what you did with it, but you can’t get it back.
Which brings me to my thoughts for today, consider not only your time but others. The fact that you can’t get it back is universal so if you aren’t careful with it chances are you might be wasting others time. They can’t get it back either. If you are the one wasting it by being late or unprepared you really are doing a disservice to others. 
It is key when you are in a situation where what you do affects others that you are prepared. Make things not only worth your time but theirs as well. People don’t like to have their time wasted. They know they only have so much of it. You may think it’s no big deal if it takes 30 more minutes, but you never know. That could mean the difference of beating traffic to make a kids soccer game or meeting an old friend before they must leave town.
So always think about what’s involved in a project or task not only regarding your time but that of others involved. Think about how things can be streamlined and efficient and I guarantee people will remember you for that effort. Just as people can remember you negatively for wasting their time, they will remember you in a positive light for being prepared and valuing it.
