I think sometimes as we hustle to “make it” we lose sight of the line between hustling and overextending. It’s fabulous that we are all getting after it to make “it” happen what ever that be for each one of us. It could be to make a better life for your family, to establish security in your life or just to be able to take time and enjoy life traveling for example.
It can be hard though to know where the line is sometimes. The line that has us hustling for our benefit or for the benefit of others. I hear you that your hustle could be directly benefitting others by what ever your product or service is. If you are a personal trainer, you are certainly benefitting others directly by your service and expertise.
Not what I mean, the line I am talking about is where others aren’t valuing your time or process. The line that has calls outside of set work hours, delays in the process that push the workload back to you tenfold in order to meet deadlines and of course delays in payments. We all feel that line, right? Haha!
Sure, we want to do anything and everything to service our clients, that’s a no brainer. We don’t however want to lose ourselves in that process. You need to know where that line is, between you and your best self and overloading of the partnership you have with your client. Flexibility is good, helping is good but repeated overloading is bad. Offer exceptional customer service and work but don’t loose the best version of you in the process. The world needs you, SHINE BRIGHT! Much Love!!
